Description
The Private Beekeeping Lesson at B&K Bees is the ultimate in personalized beekeeping education. Spend a day with Brett completing normal B&K Bees bee chores, while chatting bees and answering any questions you may have. We’ll cover important topics like mite control, honey production and even take a peak into the queen rearing operation. If you really want to see B&K Bees from the inside, this is your chance. Be sure to come with a bee suit and hopefully a strong back, as we’ll be working the bees together, not chatting in an air conditioned classroom. Lesson size is limited to 3 people.
We will be working in an active bee yard, come prepared with the necessary protective equipment.
Light lunch and water will be provided.
If there is inclement weather, the class will be rescheduled. If inclement weather persists, a rain check will be issued for a future class.
